What does GRAIL cost?

GRAIL's Step 1 programme, See The Opportunity, runs 3-4 weeks for the CEO and management team at a fixed fee of typically EUR 20,000-50,000, depending on company size, number of participants, and scope. Steps 2 and 3 are scoped per engagement. GRAIL never bills hourly, and there are no subscriptions or licence fees.

Why fixed fee and never hourly?

You buy outcomes, not hours. AI has changed the cost structure of consulting delivery, and hourly billing passes inefficiency on to the client. Every GRAIL engagement is a fixed scope at a fixed price with defined deliverables, agreed before work starts.

What determines where Step 1 lands within the range: the size of the company, the number of management-team participants, and the scope of the initial workstream. You get the exact figure in a written proposal after the first conversation, and it does not move afterwards.

What do you own at the end?

Everything. The custom AI agents, the workflows, the context files, and the roadmap all belong to the client from day one. GRAIL retains only its own methodology. There are no licence fees, no platform dependency, and nothing stops working if the engagement ends.

This is deliberate. Step 1 is designed so that if it does not deliver, you stop, keep everything, and owe nothing further. GRAIL earns every next step.

What it does not cost you

  • No IT project. Step 1 takes no access to live systems: no CRM integration, no APIs, no procurement cycle. The agents work on material you curate and provide.
  • No subscription. Nothing recurring unless you choose an advisory retainer in a later step.
  • No exit fees. Every step is self-contained. Stopping is always a clean decision.
