Fixed fee, never hourly, agreed in writing before work starts. No lock-in at any stage, and you own everything we build.
GRAIL's Step 1 programme, See The Opportunity, runs 3-4 weeks for the CEO and management team at a fixed fee set by company size, number of participants, and scope, agreed in writing before work starts. Steps 2 and 3 are scoped per engagement. GRAIL never bills hourly, and there are no subscriptions or licence fees.
| Step | Duration | Pricing model |
|---|---|---|
| Step 1 — See The OpportunityCEO + management team: AI fluency, opportunity roadmap, custom AI agents for every participant | 3-4 weeks | Fixed fee, agreed before work starts |
| Step 2 — Prove It WorksFunction-by-function upgrades, internal champions, strategic advisory | 60-90 days | Fixed fee per workstream, plus an optional advisory retainer, scoped per engagement |
| Step 3 — Build Unfair AdvantageOrganization-wide scaling, new workstreams, multi-country rollout | 6+ months | Retainer plus project fees, scoped per engagement |
You buy outcomes, not hours. AI has changed the cost structure of consulting delivery, and hourly billing passes inefficiency on to the client. Every GRAIL engagement is a fixed scope at a fixed price with defined deliverables, agreed before work starts.
What determines where Step 1 lands within the range: the size of the company, the number of management-team participants, and the scope of the initial workstream. You get the exact figure in a written proposal after the first conversation, and it does not move afterwards.
Everything. The custom AI agents, the workflows, the context files, and the roadmap all belong to the client from day one. GRAIL retains only its own methodology. There are no licence fees, no platform dependency, and nothing stops working if the engagement ends.
This is deliberate. Step 1 is designed so that if it does not deliver, you stop, keep everything, and owe nothing further. GRAIL earns every next step.
